Quality Policy

The scope of the quality management system is the: Supply, rental, maintenance, service and repair of waste compactors. Our mission is to supply and maintain, cost effective waste handling equipment to the complete satisfaction of our customers.

Product Quality

  • Products supplied by Kenburn should be of the highest quality
  • Services provided by Kenburn should be professionally and effectively supplied
  • All Kenburn staff should take the right action to present themselves and the Company in a professional manner

Only by providing an outstanding service and product quality will we achieve long term success and sustained improvements.  Everyone in the company is responsible for the quality of their work. The company provides training and has established systems to assist everyone in achieving the standards required. While we endeavour to produce work and offer a service that we can be proud of, we realise that we don’t always achieve our own standards. When a customer makes a complaint, we are committed to investigating the complaint and will do our best to put right all justified complaints.

Kenburn Directors are commited to:

  • Satisfying applicable requirements by ensuring that customer and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements are identified, understood and consistently met.
  • Continual improvement of the QMS by ensuring the risks and opportunities that can affect conformity of products and services and the ability to enhance customer satisfaction are identified and addressed and the focus on enhancing customer satisfaction is maintained.
  • Taking accountability for the effectiveness of the QMS and ensuring it achieves its intended results.
  • Ensuring that the quality policy and quality objectives are established for the QMS and are compatible with the context and strategic direction of the Company. Quality objectives have been set and are maintained as part of the QMS internal auditing, monitoring and management review processes, in order to enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Promoting the use of a process approach and risk-based thinking.
  • Ensuring that the resources needed for the QMS are available; including training, support and encouragement.
  • Communicating the importance of effective quality management and of conforming to the QMS requirements.
  • Directing and supporting employees to contribute to the effectiveness of the QMS and promote improvement.
  • Establishing partnerships with suppliers and interested parties to provide an improved service.

This policy will be communicated to all employees and organisations working for or on our behalf. Employees and other organisations are expected to co-operate and assist in the implementation of this policy, whilst ensuring that their own work, so far as is reasonably practicable, is carried out without risk to themselves, others, or the environment.

This policy will be reviewed annually by Kenburn Directors and where deemed necessary will be amended and re-issued. This policy is available to relevant interested parties, upon reasonable request.

The QMS applies to all presales, sales and customer services (after sales) activities with the exception of accountancy, which is covered by accountancy standards and UK law.
